Linda & Henry, I just realized that most people may not think of the word "mischievous" as I do. Not that he wasn't always into something, but David was more curious and inquisitive than mischievous. He wanted to know about everything, how it worked and what made it work. That little backpack full of tools was always with him as a child. And he was always working at doing something! Again, I know he'll be missed by many.

Linda & Henry, We were so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember how sweet, and, yes, mischievous David was. He was such an unusual kid, but brought a lot of joy to people. Momma told me that he once just stopped by to see her out of the blue, and gave her a bouquet of wildflowers he had picked for her. That made her so happy! I last saw David at a gathering in Martinville and realized he had grown into a handsome young man, was still just as sweet as he had been as a child. Our prayers are with you. Love, Betty Rose and family

I am so deeply saddened by the news of David's death - I just received word today. I directed the film "Sphere of Influence" in which David was clearly a central character to the story. I really liked David a lot - he was so generous with his time, patient with me and my meddling camera, and was one of the reasons the project (both sphere and film) turned out as well as they did. I'm just so saddened that he passed on so early in his life. He was a really warm, kind and talented guy. My deepest condolences to his family...

David was my friend. He was a close friend. He always welcomed me into his life and his art. It was such an honor to work with him in school as a fellow artist. We were like family in highschool. I look back on those times as some of the best of our lives. I feel so lucky to have known David. His heart was filled with warmth and goodness, and a creative brilliance that only those who knew him could ever understand. I will miss you David. We will meet again. Forever your friend and brother, Blake Squire Bisbee

Dear Uncle Henry and Aunt Linda, I am so blessed to have known David. He was a great cousin and a wonderful person to be around. I just hope that I can accomplish half of the wonderful things he had. Every time David walked into a room his huge smile would become contagious. The last time I was blessed with the opportunity to sit and talk with David he went on and on about his wonderful parents. His love for the two of you was so amazing. I am so sorry that I am unable to come to Little Rock this weekend, but you are in my prayers and May God Bless You....John III

David was my best friend through our pre-teen and mid-teen years. We kept in touch by phone to this day and had a great friendship and love for one another. We were scheduled to see one another on my trip to Arkansas in May. It breaks my heart we will never have that chance again. I found out I was pregnant on the day of David's passing and I'm hoping for a boy so I can honor David by naming my son after him. You will be forever loved.

Linda and Henry, There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am for your loss! Tim and David spent lots of time together in their early years as did our families and it now seems like part of our own family has been lost. After reading his obituary and messages in the guest book, it is obvious what a caring, kind, and talented young man David had become--truly his parent's beloved son. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God's grace give you the strength you will need in the coming days. Love, Brenda
