Charles N. ''Hutch'' Hutchison, 74, of Cave City, Arkansas died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born November 20, 1939, in Calamine, Arkansas, he was the son of Delphus Hutchison and Mable Magee Hutchison.

He was a Christian and attended Rings Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and loved his family.

He was with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 30 years, past board member of Sharp County Farm Bureau, and board member of Sharp County Conservation District.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Ring Hutchison, of Cave City; a sister, Delpha Mae Steelman and her husband, Lawrence, of Pace Florida; a nephew, Lawrence ''Larry'' Steelman and his wife, Beverly, of Pace, Florida; a niece, Margaret Ludlow and her husband, Larry, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and special friends, Ronald and Lawanda Mobley, Michael and Vivian Mobley, Aaron Mobley and Madison Mobley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patty Lou Phillips; and granddaughters, Heather Gann Hill and Alicia Gann Smith.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2014 at Rings Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Harry Black, Bro. Terry Johnson and Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.

Burial will be at Parsley Cemetery near Calamine under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers will be Brian Neal, W. E. Smith, Earl D. Ring, Robert Earl Ring, Van D. Sawyer, Darrel Parsley and Shad Black.

Honorary pallbearers are Mac King and Terry Melton.

Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014, at the funeral home.

Hutch and I grew up across the creek from each other. He was a good friend to me all of his life. He watched out for me from the first grade on. When you needed help, you I knew he would be there for you.

Charles was a good man! A gentle giant of a man! I remember going swimming at his Mom and Dad's ranch when I was a small boy back in the early 1960's. May God be with Roberta and the Hutchison family during their time of grief! John 12:24

Charles will be dearly missed. I always enjoyed going back to the Hutchison home place and reliving memories of visiting him and his mom and dad. They were wonderful people and our family treasured them. May God bless you.
