September 22, 1953 - January 25, 2015

Wesley ''Wes'' Carnell Dinwiddie, 61, of Sherwood, passed away January 25, 2015. Wesley was born September 22, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Geraldine Dinwiddie.

Katie, I will be praying for you and your family. I leaned on my faith hard when I lost my husband and God got me through. My family also helped me tremendously. Lean on everyone, talk and cry as often as you need to. You were always the best example of a big sister when I was little. I wish I could take the hurt from you right now. My prayers are with you. Katie, I'm praying that God will comfort and give you a peace that is beyond understanding.

I looked up to Wesley. He lived up the hill but would come down and play catch with me when I was 14. He taught me how to make a "fastball" move. It sounds like a silly memory but it is a good one for me. He was kind when he didn't have to be and it taught me that a real man is also a kind one. Reading about his life, I can see that he continued his practice of being kind at all times and that many loved him.

Praying that the good memories will help ease your pain.
