Bob I am so thankful to have you in my life. I've known you since I was 12 , for almost 40 years, and the best times we had were in the past few months. I'm so happy we spent time together recently and I already miss you very much. You text me last month and said you were excited to see my mom , Connie Stone, and Charlie Blackburn when you went to Heaven! Mom loves you so very much and so do I! Thanks for being YOU!

Jane, Robert, Missy, Jeremy, Luke, John....and Fritzie....Please know that my heart aches for your loss. Bob was such a wonderful friend. He made time for all his friends, and gave sage advice. The Baxter Bulletin should have carried a "Dear Bob" column, as he was that adept at giving heart felt advice. Sir Bob just had an enormous capacity to give. I am so grateful for his many talents we were able to enjoy. Bob always liked to reiterate; "Jane came along and saved my life." He would always follow that with an expression of gratitude for his family. He felt so blessed. He loved all of you so very much. I will always remember Sir Bob with love in my heart. I was honored to call him my friend.

My first experience with Bob was while collaborating on an original song with a random group of young people picked from the High School Gifted and Talented program in its infancy. I was in awe to be in a real studio, and amazed at his professionalism with all us "kids". Growing up here, he has been a staple in the music and video community, and later providing so much local historical archives. He contributed so much more than I'll ever know, but he made a strong impression on this young lady back in the day. Thank you for being the wonderful, talented man you were, and leaving a legacy to all those touched by your life. Prayers for your family and close loved ones.

He always wore flip-flops, shorts, and Hawaiian style shirts. I'll also remember taking cd's and recordings from our criminal cases and having Bob clean the background noise out of the recordings. My deepest sympathy to the family and all of Bob's friends at this time. Bob was a friend from the time he went to the Presbyterian church shortly after coming to this area. He remained like a brother, always there for all of us from the 1964 class. So many of us grew up together and, though Bob went off to Military school, he was still just part of our class no matter what. We all loved him. I am so happy he got to attend our 50 year reunion. He will never be forgotten. May God richly bless you and the children Jane.

Jane and Children,

I am so, so sorry to hear of Bob passing. What an awesome man, husband, father and friend to SO many. Bob was so talented, so smart and had a funny side like no other. I was sadly amazed, like so many time, to hear of Bob being stricken with such a horrible disease such as cancer. Why would such a talented, caring, amazing man be stricken with such a terrible disease? I was always wowed to see Bob in person, to see how soft of a heart he had, how he loved his family, and was always trying to make life easier and happier for those around him.

I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and will forever carry memories of Bob in my heart. I will hear him singing and playing drums in my mind and heart, until I leave this worldly home. Just remember we will all see Bob again one day. We will see him pleasing God, singing for him and probably telling him jokes in Heaven. Jane, bless you for being the sweet, caring, friend and wife that Bob always wanted and needed. You and Bob were like peas and carrots. You both completed each other so perfectly, like very few ever seen.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful, loving soul with the rest of the world. I am sure he was hard to give up all those times he HAD to give of himself, but we as a people who truly love him, can only say Thank you and mean it from the bottom of our hearts. God be with each of you during this time of grief. May God bring each of you peace and comfort in knowing Bob is whole again, and is back to being himself 110% again. He will be watching over you all from up above, and will be waiting until you are all called to join him on Heaven.
