A memorial service for Harold Edward Tackett of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 8, at Mountain Home Church of Christ with Ken Burton, Wayne Camp and Carroll Sites officiating. All attending are invited for refreshments after the service.
Harold passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Mountain Home at the age of 86. He was born October 8, 1929 in Virgie, Kentucky, the son of Alfred and Nora (Hudson) Tackett. He lived in Mountain Home since 1970, moving from Michigan. Harold was in the U.S. Air Force for twenty-two and one half years. He was stationed many places, including England, the Philippines, Greenland and Vietnam. He was a guide on Lake Norfork, specializing in catching striper. He also guided on the local rivers. Walleye was his favorite fish to eat.
Harold is survived by his wife, Myra June of Mountain Home, daughters, Kathy of Mountain Home and Vicky of Conway, Arkansas. He had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, sister and 4 great-granddaughters.
Burial will be at a later date.
Memorial may be made to Mountain Home Christian Academy or a charity of choice.

our love and prayers are with you, My last memories of Harold was him laughing about his problem with words after his stroke and me giving him cookies, you have many happy memories to think about. Bless you
