Dolie Dean Evans, age 77, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Dolie was born December 5, 1938 in Peel, Arkansas to the late William ''Bill'' and Essie (Mahan) Evans. He was a retired truck driver for N. A. Wood Products and for Mar Bax Shirt Company. He was a member of Marion County Jaycees and several morning coffee clubs as well as Marion County Amateur Radio Club.

Mr. Evans is survived by two sons: Billy Joe Evans and his wife, Sandy, of Yellville, Arkansas; Russell ''Rusty'' Evans and his wife, Sherry, of Summit, Arkansas; two daughters: Deanna ''Suzie'' Layton and her husband, Tommy of Yellville, Arkansas; Sandra Kaye Brandon and her husband, Deryl, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Kala, Brandon, Steven, Macey, Rhett, Harleigh, and McKenna; and four great-grandchildren: Caden, Tristin, Cutler, and Dominic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat (Haynes); two brothers: P.R. Evans and an infant brother; and his sister Agnes McGowne.

Visitation for Dolie will be 6:00 '''' 8:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating.

Interment will follow at Peel Cemetery in Peel, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Steven Evans, Brandon Evans, Rhett Brandon, Keith Evans, Lester Evans, and Cody Evans.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Baker, Alvin Don Keeter, Rick Painter, Red Blackwell, and Tim Sheehan.

Memorials may be made to Peel Cemetery c/o Fred Austin, or to North Central Arkansas Adoption Coalition, 379 Waterfall Lane, Yellville, AR 72687.
