Raymond Henry Sublett, 79, of Greenbrier, went to be with his Lord on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1937 in Centerville, Arkansas to the late Jesse Samuel Sublett and the late Zora Josephine James Sublett.
Mr. Sublett was a truck driver all of his life, a cattle farmer, he loved being outdoors working on his farm and watching old western movies. He was a member of Barney Baptist Church. But most of all he was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eva Wooley and Thelma Roberts; and a brother, Esker Sublett.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Emma Jean Wiley Sublett; daughters, Brenda Sublett of Twin Groves, AR and Barbara Klein (Randy) of Quitman, AR; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Stewart (Robert) of Mt. Vernon, AR; brothers, James Sherman Sublett (Helen) of Conway, AR, Vernon D. Sublett (Juanita) of North Little Rock, AR and Samuel Elbert Sublett (Johnnie) of Mt. Vernon, AR; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 6:00-8:00PM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro Freddy Mark Wilcox and Bro. Johnny Wooley officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.
