Mrs. Noleka Hopper, 95, of Heber Springs passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
She was born on December 2, 1922 in Mountain View to Cordell Jeffries and Willie Jane (Dodson) Jeffries.
Noleka was a member of the Quail Valley Church of Christ. She loved to cook. She had a real passion for bowling and was a member of several bowling leagues.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Hopper (Delores) of Cabot, Arkansas and Chester Hopper (Sheila) of Portland, Indiana; four grandchildren, R.D. Hopper (Jennifer), David Hopper (Staci), Tina Jones (Bob), and Kyle Jett; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Addie Jeffries and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.D. Hopper; three brothers, Seville ''Pete'' Jeffries, Francis Jeffries, and Sylvester ''Shorty'' Jeffries; and sister, Marie Mendenhall.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
There will be no visitation.
Chester and Roger, so sorry to hear about Aunt Noleka. She was such a sweet lady. She always had nice things to say about everyone. She will be missed. You're in my prayers.

Roger & Chester.Your mother was a wonderful lady. Smiled and laughed a lot. You don't know me, but I met your mom and dad about 65 yrs. ago & we were still friends. RIP God will comfort you during this sad time. my family lived at Locust Grove several yrs. ago . Last name was Elms.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Noleka. I haven't seen her in quite some time but have many fond memories of her. She was a wonderful person and will be missed very much.

My deepest condolences to the family, I meet Mrs. Noleka when I was a young girl, and she was always so very kind to me when I would go visit with her when my Uncle Frances and Aunt Addie (her brother and sister on law) would come to Batesville visiting family.
